We had been selling our Turkish hammam towels through Bridport Post Office, West Street, Bridport, until we sold the business in February 2022, however, the new owner is still selling them along with the normal services.

We were looking for a versatile, useful product we could sell in our retail area, at West Country fayres, boat and motorhome shows, and of course online.

Several years ago whilst travelling in the south of France, we came across this lightweight and fast-drying, hammam fouta towels being used in a variety of ways. Much easier to transport than their terry toweling counterparts. We’ve seen them being used as a beach towel, sarong, scarf, throw, table cloth, picnic blanket, or even gym towel. The way you use your Hammam towel is only limited by your imagination.

We sourced a supplier who uses only local Turkish cotton weaved in the traditional technique that creates a soft, absorbent, and long-lasting product. We launched our website and the rest is history.
