Hammams UK started as an idea a few years ago when we were selling hammams, bags and quilted bed throws. The only thing that sold well for us was the hammam towels so we became just a hammam towel specialist from Bridport Post Office, which at the time we owned.

When we sold the business the new owner of the Post Office knew how established we were as selling hammams and asked if they could continue selling them. We came to an agreement so they are still available for you to buy from them if you are in the area.

2020 has been a great year for us, at shows/events/online / and in the Bridport Post Office.  Last summer was one of our busiest years since we started 5 years ago in-store and online. We’ve seen a huge increase in return shoppers who are extremely happy with the quality and uses of the towels.

Our returning customers are also buying them for friends and family as birthday and wedding gifts due to their versatility.

Within our range of hammams, we have the traditional tight weave, these have been around for centuries. Originally used in Turkish hammam baths due to their lightness and quick-drying abilities. Today we also had hammam towels with a honeycomb texture, these are becoming as popular as the traditional.
